Since its beginnings, the Novatech Group has tirelessly pursued the goal of offering tomorrow’s entry door products today. The Novatech Group is also committed to the pursuit of excellence and innovation in the development and commercialization of doors and doorglass that are inspirational to consumers.

Inspired by the entrepreneur Mr. Raymond Ouellette, and his vision that doorglass is above all a design product and not a construction product, the Novatech Group was founded in 1982 and today has a presence in more than 15 countries in the world. Since the beginning, Novatech positioned itself as a component specialist in the door and doorglass markets to sell exclusively to prehangers of finished products. In 2009, the Novatech group regrouped half a dozen subsidiaries with more than 500 employees.

A long list of successes

The Novatech Group has innovation in its blood! Novatech has attained several firsts in the industry: the first maintenance-free doorglass frame, a patio door with internal mini-blinds between the two glass panes (again maintenance-free), a plastic superior to PVC that resists the heat created by the greenhouse effect caused by storm doors, etc. Two other firsts were the Novasecure door built specifically to house a multipoint locking system, increasing security and waterproofing and decreasing air infiltration, and the revolutionary Elevation venting unit, which is ergonomic and opens using one finger only, aided by a balancing system. At the Novatech Group, innovation is much more than a commitment-it is inevitable!
