New Energy Efficiency Zone C* program for doors
As of June 1st 2010, the ENERGY STAR® program will establish more demanding requirements for each zone. As a result, some products will be downgraded to inferior zones.
The Novatech team, always at the forefront of progress, has designed and developed a new generation of decorative doorglass in response to these changes. The new generation’s standard offering will be Energitech® glass (Low E glass and argon gas). As of June 1st, 2010, these products will meet zone C or D requirements when used in an ENERGY STAR® approved door system using Novatech’s door panels.
A responsible choice!
This new generation of doorglass will contribute to environmental conservation. In fact, for the same house fitted with identical doors and windows, having Energitech® glass products reduces greenhouse gasses (CO2) by a half ton each year**. It also increases energy efficiency of the glass by 63%.

Elevation: the ergonomic venting unit
An easy to open venting doorglass
The Elevation venting unit is now available in size 22'' x 48'' in a large selection of glass.
This new venting doorglass can be opened using only one finger, with the help of a balancing system. It requires less than 10 pounds of force to open, making it extremely ergonomic. All surface latches have been eliminated. It also offers the following: an operating bottom sash that has limitless stop points, two grip handles, a central locking mechanism, and 50/50 ventilation (25% more than the standard unit). A vast selection of glass types are also available.
Steel doors: our new models
2010 is a year of innovation at Novatech: two new steel door models are now available.
2 panel XE PLUS
The new XE PLUS embossment designed and developed by Novatech has even more definition than traditional embossments. This new model will, without a doubt, add a decorative touch to your entrance door.
Many combinations with doorglass are possible. Be creative and insert any doorglass model of size 7 1/2'' x 18 1/2'', 8'' x 36'' or 22'' x 48'' of your choice.
Linéa
Novatech offers this new innovative steel door model. Whether it is enhanced with a 7'' x 64'' sizes doorglass or not, Linéa will make your entrance door stand out.
Colored Grills Program
Novatech now offers a 2 tone colored grill. Ten standard colors are available in several different configurations and models of grill.

Thermacrystal, a unique collection
The Thermacrystal collection, introduced in 2009, is growing. Novatech presents Bora-Bora, the new and exotic design of 2010.
Newcastle, one of the first three Thermacrystal models, is now available in the 3/4 oval size.
The Thermacrystal collection introduces new technology to doorglass production. This new molding process thermoforms a polyester film, producing designs with complex, pure lines. It also reproduces different glass textures. A layer of clear resin is applied to a plastic film, fixing it to the glass. The addition of this resin adds a crystalline opacity, which provides the desired privacy. Opt for the Thermacrystal collection - it combines the radiance of light with the security of a unique entrance door.
The Thermacrystal collection is available with the Novasecure option in the following dimensions: 22'' x 36'', 8'' x 36'', 3/4 oval, 8'' x 48''. The Novasecure option creates a doorglass more resistant to impacts, and therefore to break-ins, when compared to ordinary doorglass.
